DDP - Escape From Infinity Mobile

Project Title: Escape From Infinity

What's been done:

  • I've got a basic pickup system implemented, which ties in to the level generation.
    It was a bit of work to do because at first I wasn't to sure on where I was going to go with it, especially with things such as spawn frequency and if it would just spawn on the solid areas or not.

    In the end I decided to go with a system that didn't take into account if it was on a solid surface or not, since only two of the level parts have spaces on them currently.

    This will change as I expand on it over the weekend as the main collectables for the game will be situated on solid surfaces.
     
  • I've also got a nice blue colour scheme sorted for the game itself, though that may change near the time of release. Though if you have a look at the images below there is a nice unexpected blue tint on the ship when you go through the tunnels.
     
  • I've done a small boosting system which works like this, you pickup up X amount of the blue pickups, once you either have the max or the amount you want hit the boost button and off you go... for about 2.5 seconds, which is how long the boost lasts.
